The wait is finally over, and Frances has landed where she was always meant to be —with Lisa Weaver and Santiago Jacomi and Pecosa, their Chihuahua who was getting too comfortable living large as the top dog. Wisely, Lisa and Santiago knew it was high time for some new blood and found Frances on the DRR website and knew right off the bat she was the missing piece to their puzzle.

Foster Mom Trish had her all dolled up in a pink sundress and flowered necklace, and let’s just say she was the epitome of cool!!! When they met up in Ardmore, Frances proved she was a total scene-stealer, blowing off Picosa’s attempts to dominate and winning everyone over with her adorable shenanigans. Lisa and Santiago were head over heels and decided to rename her Gracie.

The ride home was a piece of cake, and Gracie settled into her new digs in no time. She made herself right at home, jumping on the couch, exploring the yard, and even sneaking in a few z’s while watching TV. Big thanks to Terri for finding the perfect home for this little ball of fluff!

About Frances:

There is a new girl in town, the all too common story of a stray Frenchie found by a local follower, no chip and searching for her owner and surprise, surprise nobody has claimed her.

Here is what we know thus far, we asked the finder to spay her for us at our expense before bringing her to us, we are thankful she obliged to help us. She is estimated to be about 2 years old, she is absolutely terrified right now and having stress. She is a very sweet girl, she did okay with the finders dogs so we assume that will go well. Sadly but not surprising she is HW positive so treatment will need to begin for that.
