The family of the late Norm the Dachshund—and Gertie’s (Jovial 2024) —reached out about Gadzooks! Jennifer and Clint Turney of Allen, TX, are beloved repeat adopters, and they were eager to see whether he might be the next perfect addition to their crew. Gertie came along to give him the official once‑over before offering her approval, while Abner waited patiently at home.
Waiting at home, too? A shipment of matching brand‑new bandanas for everyone. And just like that, the trio is complete: three little (sock) monkeys sitting in a tree—Gertie, Abner, and now Otto!
He’s already settling in beautifully, and it’s clear he’s stepped right into a life filled with love, fun, and all the comforts a dog could hope for.
