Some adoptions feel as though they were simply meant to be.

Jan and Mike True of Plano previously adopted a precious Cavalier girl from our rescue during COVID. She became the light of their lives, filling their home with so much love and happiness. Sadly, they lost her unexpectedly a few weeks ago after she developed congestive heart failure over the past year. The emptiness she left behind was heartbreaking.

Then they came to meet sweet Gaynor—and that was all it took. Sometimes your heart just knows, and Jan and Mike knew this special little girl belonged with them.

They’re going to take a little time before choosing her new name, but they’re considering another “B” name. Whatever they decide, one thing is certain: this beautiful girl has found a wonderful home where she will be treasured beyond measure.

Congratulations, Jan and Mike! We hope your new little girl brings comfort to your hearts and fills your home with love once again. Happy tails, sweet girl!

We are going to have a hard time keeping our new group of Cavaliers straight, they all look pretty similar. This is the first one, born on 2/6/22 she is a 4 year old girl who has just escaped a terrible life for any dog.
