When we received Gazoo’s application, it was clear—they wanted two dogs. Gazoo’s meet-and-greet with their Frenchie, Meatball, went beautifully, and from there we gathered to decide which pup would be the perfect match. The choice was obvious: Drumstick! After all, how could we resist the duo of Drumstick and Meatball?

Gazoo and Drumstick will continue to live in Texas with a wonderful family who prefers to let their dogs “name themselves.” (We’re still curious how Meatball came up with his!)

Here’s to a joyful new chapter filled with love, laughter, and plenty of Frenchie chaos.

About Gazoo:

He was in the Plano shelter as a stray and nobody came, he was put up for adoption and adopted but they brought him back and said “they weren’t small dog people after all” I honestly can’t make this stuff up.

The little boy was rescued today and Ricky is on his way to take him to the sanctuary where he will stay in isolation until we know he’s well.
