Geartrude

The last cavalier, Geartrude, from the latest auction, has found her new home with Alexa Poynor. A big change for her new brother, Fionn, to get used to again. However, going on multiple walks together has improved their bond tremendously. A few months ago Alexa made the tough decision to let her 12 yr old cavalier cross the rainbow bridge. After having time to get used to life without her soul dog, and convincing dad, she knew Fionn needed another playmate. Now the home is complete with 2 cats, 2 cavaliers and of course mom & dad to spoil them. They agreed to rename Geartrude, Penelope. Since dad is a huge Penn State fan, he swayed Alexa to call her Penny for short. (Hints the bandanna ) We are excited to see their bond progress on happy tails page!  PS In the best laid plans category, Penelope/Penny didn’t fit her personality so her new name is Maeve!
