Latest Update:
Joseph and Janine Bowling of Fort Worth, TX, are no strangers to our rescue family. They previously adopted Heaven the DDB — now Pricilla — who shares her home with their wonderfully wild pug, Elvis Pugsley. Pricilla and Elvis adore each other, but as we all know, a DDB simply can’t keep pace with pug‑level energy. So the Bowlings reached out about Gibb, hoping he might be the perfect match for Elvis’s enthusiasm.
They brought Elvis for a meet and greet, and the two hit it off right away. Later, Joseph and Janine returned to pick Gibb up, confident he’d bring exactly the kind of playful spark Elvis has been looking for. With their daughter home for the next five months to help with training and socialization, Gibb is set up beautifully for success — and we’re predicting two very tired pups in the near future.
His new name will be Folsom, which the Sanctuary staff finds hilariously fitting since he spent more than a few moments in “air jail” during his stay. For anyone unfamiliar, air jail is when staff scoop up an overly excited dog and hold them until they settle enough to rejoin the group. It’s a gentle reset — and yes, it comes with plenty of snuggles.
We’re certain Folsom will get all the snuggle time he could ever want with the Bowling family. We can’t wait to see updates on Happy Tails as he begins this fun new chapter.
We have a little bit of a variety today, I will share what I know about each of them but that just isn’t very much. The info thats listed in the catalog is all I have to go on for most of them so I will share that.
This is a little male Pug born on 4/7/26 so he falls into the aged out pup category, with that and being a male that they don’t need as many of, he is unwanted on a few levels so off he went to be auctioned off.
