We were all sad and happy that we could get Good Heavens out of her former breeding life after she produced puppy after puppy from 2018 until we got her a month ago. She is such a gorgeous Dogue de Bordeaux it was easy to see why her looks then defined what her life would be.

You would think that a dog that had spent her whole life as a breeding mama and have never lived in a home would be scarred from that, but that was not who this dog was. She arrived in Texas exuding happiness and even allowed our whole gaggle of little Dachshunds to climb all over her and played with them.

Good with people, small and big dogs and just happy to be. We can now happily announce that she is in her forever home with Lisa and Jerry Thornton from Mabank, TX. We already have a report back today that her first night in her new home was a success! She took a short walk on a leash, slept perfectly all night in her crate and went potty outside and is busy exploring the house. We wish this majestic girl all the fun and joy as she is loved as a pet for the first time in her life.

About Good Heavens:

She will break my heart, she just had her 7th birthday living this life producing Bordeaux pups her whole life with never getting to be a pet and loved by someone. She just like Maybelline have now escaped, but will we be able to find them homes? so far no luck with Maybelline, and this big girl will be hard too.

Ricky said she is a huge girl and is terrified and pancakes to the ground not knowning what is happening, and what is to become of her. We have no idea if she is the mother to these pups or not, she comes from the same breeder, but I don’t have anymore info than that.
