We received quite a few applications for Goodness Gracious—and who could blame anyone? She’s an incredibly sweet girl with the most perfect temperament. As we always remind our applicants, if you weren’t selected, it’s never a reflection on your ability to provide a wonderful home. There was only one Goodness Gracious, and we had to make the best possible match for her.
Bryan Gelbke and James Naylor of Argyle, TX, were that match. Their beloved Boston Terrier passed away in October at a long, well‑loved age, and they knew their hearts were ready for another dog. They arrived as a family—Bryan’s mother, Judy, included—and the moment they met her, everything clicked. Goodness Gracious was absolutely smitten with them, and the entire meeting felt effortless and meant‑to‑be.
She’ll now answer to her new name, Brie, and we can’t wait to see her beautiful, smiling face on Happy Tails very soon.
This girl is reported to be “bred” to a fluffy Frenchie, we believe nothing so I am just reporting what has been said.
