Gruee was a medical challenge from the moment he arrived, and he needed every bit of the medical care and love our Sanctuary staff could give. That’s why we couldn’t be more thrilled to see him land so softly with his new family, the Henrichsons.

When he walked into the lobby for his adoption, he greeted his new family with nonstop kisses—and honestly, we don’t remember his feet touching the ground again after that first step inside. One look at his adoption photo and it’s clear he’s about to be more spoiled than he’s ever been in his life.

Gruee will be sharing his new home with Guppy the Frenchie and Romeo the mini Goldendoodle. His new name is still up for debate, but Gus and Grouper are strong contenders.

As he headed off to Cypress, TX, we knew his past was officially in the rearview mirror. Gruee, we hope you soak up every moment of your new beginning. You will be missed, sweet boy.
