Holley Shiftwell

I will close the night with this little story from foster mom Danielle:

Well, I put up the good fight to try not to have a foster fail, but all that has come to an end. Holly Swiftwell has found her home with me and her Beagle sister, Ruby (DRR Monkey) and terrier mix, Dory (DRR Starr). Beagles are my favorite breed because of the first Beagle I adopted many years ago. I will always have one in my home.
Holley has been through a lot but each week she shows progress in overcoming the life she lived for almost 6 years in the mill. She became one of the lucky ones when Emma was drawn to her and then worked on getting her on the list to go with Dog Ranch Rescue. We are still working on her being nervous around humans and not feeling like she needs to try to flee in certain situations. She has already gained a lot of confidence being in a home by watching her sisters. Holley knows her name so I thought long and hard about names which sounded similar to Hollley. So I have decided her new name will be Honey., She is a very sweet girl so it fits her. She will be forever loved, and I look forward to keeping everyone updated on how she continues to come out of her shell to enjoy her life as a spoiled girl.
