Adoption Date: May 31, 2025

Latest Update:

We were deeply saddened to read on the Happy Tails page that Jim and Susan Stevens had to say goodbye to their beloved DDB, Duke. Losing such a cherished companion leaves a space no one else can fill — and yet, as the saying goes, “You’ll never replace the one you lost — you don’t have to. Love creates more space, and there’s always room in your heart for another.”

Macy Roo, adopted from DRR, also felt the loss of her big brother. So when the Stevens reached out about Jelly, hoping she might be the right fit for their home and hearts, we were all hopeful. And we’re thrilled to share — she absolutely is.

Congratulations to sweet Jelly on her adoption! Now renamed Coqui (Koki), she’s already bringing joy and will spend her days living a very charmed and well-loved life.

About Jelly:
It seems that just about every single day we are contacted in one way or 10 others to take a frenchie into the rescue.
The two little fattie girls are breeder releases, chubby and sweet. Ricky went and picked them up yesterday afternoon, I have absolutely no information about why they wanted to get rid of them, or even who the breeder is. We are told they are both 3 years old.
Welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue Peanut butter, and Jelly.
