Patrick and Cheryl Riggs have a tradition of naming their dogs after Cheryl’s sisters—first Daisy Mae, then Maya Joy, and now Katya Lee, which also happens to be Cheryl’s middle name. Unlike her French Bulldog sisters, Katya Lee is a fluffy little mystery breed, though the family promises a DNA test so we can all share in the fun of discovering her roots.

Cheryl was instantly captivated by her—she said Katya’s looks spoke right to her heart. That’s exactly what we love to hear: a rescue who is not only welcomed but truly cherished.
Katya Lee will split her time between Cypress, TX, and a cozy cabin in the Minnesota woods. What a lucky girl—she’ll get to escape the Texas heat and enjoy the best of both worlds!
