Fancy, Rosie, Frankie… who knows what her final name will be, but one thing is certain: Katya is stepping into a brand‑new life, and she deserves a name that matches it. She wasn’t adopted all that long ago, but due to personal circumstances, she found herself back with us. Thankfully, her irresistible charm didn’t go unnoticed for long — Kara Gatto saw her sweet face and knew she belonged with them.

Katya is heading to the perfect home in St. Louis, MO, where her new parents are retired and ready to give her all the time, attention, and love she could ever want. Their neighborhood is wonderfully pet‑friendly, full of furry friends, and just a mile from the famous K‑9 Garden — a dream setup for a girl starting fresh.

We always say that every dog ultimately ends up exactly where they’re meant to be. Katya just took a small detour on her way to her forever. The Peter & Kara know all about Happy Tails, and we’re hoping they’ll share hers soon because we can’t wait to see this sweet girl thriving in her new chapter.

About Katya:

You might remember Katya, she came with a group of Frenchies from some backyard breeder discarding dogs. We were told she was a Frenchie and we chuckled but her DNA showed that she is 52% French Bulldog, along with some Yorkie and Maltese, clearly their goal was to produce a fluffy.

Anyway she was adopted out several months back and yesterday she was returned, no fault of hers, she’s adorable and a good girl. Personal issues is where I will leave it, assumptions not being made, would be appreciated so I can leave comments on. The goal is to find her a new home, and by how cute she is let’s hope that happens quickly.
