Kojak

Big handsome Kojak had everyone’s hearts from the moment he got here, with a face like that how could he not? All of our text threads were filled with squealing and exclaims that we were all in danger with this one. Even worse- he’s so well behaved, immediately making friends with dogs in the yard, and of course all of our staff members. Had all of our homes not been overflowing with too many bears already one of us would have certainly taken him home. Luckily, almost immediately an incredible application came in for him that promised the perfect home for this perfect boy. Jessica and Chase Amyette are experienced Bordeaux owners, they adopted Ms America a few years back. The Amyette’s beloved DDB, and America’s best friend Gulliver, passed earlier this February, a heartbreaking loss so many of us know all too well. After his passing, they kept an eye on our page looking for another male Bordeaux to be a companion for America, and to help fill the Gulliver sized hole in their hearts. Flash forward to this morning, and in comes goofy Mr. Kojak, barreling towards Jessica, Chase, and their daughter, full speed, tongue out, tail wagging. I can’t express enough how much of a delightful gem this boy is. He instantly bonded to them and posed for his new family portrait. He hopped in their truck, and his journey to Azle Texas- his new forever home. He’s got a huge backyard, a couch spot with his name on it, and a bear sister waiting for him. We know we’ll be seeing him on happy tails, but of course we’ll still miss his hilarious handsome face. That being said, he couldn’t be in better hands, and we’re so very excited for him to live out his life with his wonderful family.
