After a long ten hour drive from Florida, Brian Eisner finally made it to The Sanctuary to pick up Ms. Ladybug and start the long journey home. Brian and his family love mastiffs, over the years they’ve owned many. They’ve wanted a Dogue De Bordeaux for a long time now. They did their research on the breed, and were just waiting for the perfect match. When a friend sent them pictures of Ladybug all the way out in Texas, they knew she was meant for them. Ladybug came to us from a small Amish mill with her friend Matilda, she was very nervous and didn’t know what to do with herself at first, but as the weeks went on she became more and more confident. She’s still a bit shy, but Brian has had rescue dogs with the same nervous temperament before and he knows how to work with them. Little baby Ladybug will have a wonderful life with Brian and his girlfriend Ashley. They live on a beautiful one acre property in Gulf Breeze, Florida, which means plenty of room for her to play with her new big sisters, Willow the Cane Corso, Bella the husky, and Mollie, the American Eskimo. Ladybug’s name will be changed to River. Brian and Ashley both work from home so she’ll always have a person around her to love. We know she’s in excellent hands and we can’t wait to hear all about her Floridian adventures on happy tails. Safe travels River, and enjoy your wonderful new life

 

 

About Ladybug:

Ladybug came to us from a mill owner looking to offload a few dogs. We were glad to take her into rescue. She has done very well at the sanctuary meeting everyone, and is now all vetted. She is just a pup at 8 months old, and is ready for adoption. She would love to have other dogs to play with in her future home. It is rare for us to have a DDB pup under a year old in the rescue.
