Lancome

Lancôme headed off to Wyoming with longtime previous adopters Rick Brundage and Linda Rooney. Linda stayed home with their dogs and FaceTimed with us while I went over everything. She even got to witness Lancôme making a beeline back into the kitchen when she stepped outside and spotted that big man standing there.

Have no fear—once Rick had her in his arms, it was all over. She melted into him like she had known him forever. Not one little shake. That was that… no looking back. She rode all the way to Wyoming like a pro, even sleeping in his bed at the hotel.

Rick and Linda recently lost their Trident (DRR Molly) in December, and when they saw the post about our scared little girl, they knew they wanted to add her to their current crew—ReRe (DRR Maggie) and Lola (DRR Lady Sybil). Her new name hasn’t been decided yet, but they’re considering Charlotte. We’ll have to wait and see.

They’re very active on the Happy Tails page, so I know we’ll be seeing this sweet girl—and her serious side eye—again very soon.
