Our quirky girl Lena was adopted by Janie Finck, who made the trip all the way from Bradenton, Florida to bring her home.
Janie shared that Lena reminded her of her beloved doodle mix, Margie, who she sadly lost to Cushing’s disease. It was clear from the start that this match was meant to be.
Lena will now be the “younger but bigger sis” of the home, joining two small doggies and three cats. She will go by “Matilda”, or “Tilly” for short now.
Congrats to sweet Tilly and her new family!

 

About Lena:

We took her in from one of our rescue partners that we work with. She unfortunately had Parvo earlier this year, and has now made a full recovery. She is a very shy sweet girl, and with time we hope to see her open up and show us her silly side. She will have lots of time, space, and patience to realize that everything is ok.
