Lightning Mcqueen

It took a bit longer than expected to find a home for Lightning McQueen, but the right home was out there. During the interview with Tricia Bavol, we let her know what a great dog he is, but also mentioned that she needed to think of him as a 60 pound, 8 week old chocolate lab puppy. He didn’t have the benefit of puppy training while young so he would need guidance from his new family. Lightning McQueen will be living in Azle, TX with Don, Tricia & Nora Bavol plus Nutmeg the English Bulldog and Addie the Shi Tzu, Chi & Dachshund mix. They have 14 fenced acres with homes of several family members on the property, so he will get lots of love and attention. We’d heard back from them as soon as he got to his new home that he is very treat motivated and is going potty outside after one slight accident under Don’s desk! That is a big step for an 8 week old 60 pound puppy.
