The Lundby family recently lost their beloved English Bulldog after 13 wonderful years together. They’d raised him from a puppy after getting him from a breeder, and although they weren’t looking to “replace” him, they deeply missed the Bulldog personality they loved so much. This time, they knew they wanted to rescue — and we’re so grateful they chose that path.
Lilah’s journey to them began when she was surrendered to a shelter that immediately reached out to Dog Ranch Rescue, even before she was placed with the other dogs. Because of that, she avoided the typical URI so many shelter dogs develop. Still, she arrived emaciated and covered in yeast and skin infections, clearly needing care and comfort.
Once Lilah was finally healthy enough to leave, the Lundby family had already fallen for her and came to adopt her. Mom and Dad both work from home in Broomfield, Colorado, and their 5‑year‑old daughter is starting kindergarten — and we can already picture Lilah waiting excitedly at the door each afternoon for her girl to come home.
Sweet Lilah, have the happiest new life. You are safe, adored, and will never be surrendered again.

Another day, another discarded French Bulldog, this girl was surrendered at the shelter, thankfully they reached out before taking her into general population where she can get sick. Ricky jumped in his truck and retrieved her, clearly she’s struggling with emaciation, from what we don’t know, could they not afford food for her? is she struggling with IBD? she’s covered in yeast. and skin infection.
