Little Debbie

For those who may not know me, my name is Makala and I’ve been lucky enough to call LSDR/DRR home for over 4 years now. Working here has been nothing short of amazing and one of the greatest blessings has been being able to adopt through the rescue.

Back in 2022, I adopted Pumpkin (formerly DRR Bushy), and adding her to my already crazy pack has been such a joy. From traveling to everyday adventures, she’s truly been living her best life with me. But I figured one more couldn’t hurt, right? This week Little Debbie arrived, and it didn’t even take 24 hours for her to completely steal my heart. Her sweet personality, paired with how instantly she connected with my army of corgis made it impossible to say no. I just knew she belonged with us. And let’s be honest, what really sealed the deal was her tail. While corgis are known for their adorable nubs, I’ve always had a soft spot for the ones with tails.

After much thought and of course keeping the food theme names going, Little Debbie is now officially Cannoli She will be so deeply loved and is about to start her new chapter living the most fabulous life alongside her fur siblings Pumpkin, Mochi (Non-DRR), and Kiwi (Non- DRR).

A stray in Arkansas, she has a microchip, owner was contacted, he said he doesn’t want her anymore and he gave her away. Got contacted by the person who said she is now the owner and they tried to make arrangements with her to come and get her, that was about a month ago and she has ghosted them now.
