Manero

They say everything bad happens in threes, but around here, we think all the good things happen in pairs!

Funky Town and Manero left the sanctuary together and headed off to their forever home with their new big sister, Bonnie. The Ragland family initially reached out about Funky Town, but they wanted to meet Manero too. As it turns out, both girls wiggled their way straight into their hearts. Before long, they were packing their adoption bags and heading home with Alyssa, while husband Lance and their two young children eagerly waited for them in Argyle, Texas.

Back at the sanctuary, the dachshunds we rescued were all a little shy and tended to follow the lead of Funky Town, now Luna. But once they arrived home, it was Manero, now Ginny, who confidently took charge, exploring every corner of the house and introducing herself to the rest of the family.
