Marquee (fka 234) didn’t have to look far to find her furever home. She’s been couch surfing with Andy and Ana Gleesing in Aubrey, TX for the past month or so as a foster and that is where she will stay.

Andy and Ana fostered Moira fka Schmitty and fell in love with her silly, quirky Frenchie personality. When Marquee’s picture was posted on the main page the day all the newbies were introduced after the mill auction, Ana reached out and called dibs on fostering her. She has lived up to the silly, quirkiness of Frenchies and Andy and Ana fell in love with her too and decided to make it official.

Marquee will have 6 brothers: DRR alum Abraham, Jack (non DRR), Tre (non DRR), Cooper (non DRR), Tucker (non DRR) and Max (non DRR). Her new name will be Frankie, short for Frankenstein in honor of her coming along around Halloween. She has already come so far from being a mill mama, brought so much joy to her new home and we’re sure she’ll continue to blossom as she learns more about being a member of a family. This girl was in the catalog, then she was pulled from the catalog, so we assumed she wouldn’t be there, Surprise for us, she was, and that was that. She’s a red frenchie, born on 11/6/17.

UPDATE 10/11/2021

Marquee came to us from the puppy mill auction, she was the only adult Frenchie in the whole auction and by golly she was coming with us. Her skin is an absolute mess just covered in infection and she will need lots of time to heal. In addition she just came into heat, too bad for any mill owner who might have got her because she was just ready to make some puppies for you, but alas that will never happen again.

Foster mom Ana who is also Abrahams mama, and is currently fostering Inez as well picked up Marquee at the sanctuary, and has driven her home to foster her to get her all the love and care she’s never had, but very much deserved. Enjoy yourself sweet girl, the nightmare is over.
