Michael and Meggan Berg recently made the move from Virginia to Friendswood, TX. Was it to be closer to the rescue? We like to think so… but probably not. Still, their new Texas address gave them the perfect chance to adopt from us again.

They adopted Michelle two years ago and were excited to welcome another little Frenchie into their already fabulous crew of Michelle, Mila, and Louis. Marshmallow came to us as an owner surrender after her family fell on very hard times, and we hoped to place her quickly so she could begin her new chapter — and ease some of the worry for the family who loved her.

Her new name will be Melissa, and she’s now officially part of the Fab Frenchies Facebook group family. This adoption has been lovingly dubbed #FullHouseFriday, for obvious reasons.

Have the best new life, sweet Melissa. From here on out, it’s nothing but love and playtime.

This is the part of rescue that I hate.

Her owner lost her home, and contacted us from a campsite and. needed immediate help coming to get her. I’m sure you can imagine the anguish, I am sure you can imagine the tears, I know I can and Ricky has to go and pick up the dog and feel it up close and personal.

Something isn’t right with this world, helping people should come easier. All I can say is if I was a multi billionaire I would be busy full time running a charity handing it out left and right to people that need it, people with stories like this that have nothing and then have to hand over the one thing that means the most to them, is horrible. What good is massive amounts of money if you don’t do things with it to help others?

I cannot stand it. Why is there not help for people?
