Matilda has gone to live with long time volunteer Donna Price in Gunter, Texas. Donna made the trip up to Oklahoma to retrieve her special girl from foster mom Trish. Donna and Greg lost their Boston terrier Maya earlier this year and were ready for another four paws in the house. Donna is experienced with deaf dogs and was not deterred from Matilda’s special needs. Donna and Greg previously adopted Kami (DRR Lottie). Matilda’s new name will be Mati. Happy life sweet girl!

About Matilda:

Another week, another owner surrender. This girl is 5 years old and has lost her home and her family. Her owner is elderly and had to move to a place that didn’t allow dogs so she’s been picked up by foster mom Trish in Oklahoma and she will stay there until we hopefully find her a new home.

UPDATE 8/22/2022

Matilda was an owner surrender in a shelter due to illness. Foster mom Trish has taken care of her since day one, she had some issues with her health that Dr. McHandsome worked on and got her healthy again. Matilda is 5 years old and ready for adoption now, one caveat before you submit an application because many people will not want her once they know that she is deaf.
