Latest Update:
It’s adoption day for Menudo, the very last of the Mexican food group that we rescued back in April of 2018. For whatever reason she was ignored for applications for a few months until the Village came to her rescue and poured shares out into the world. We were inundated with applications emails and phone calls and the perfect home was selected for her.
She’s going to live with a veterinary technician named Carly in Dallas. Carly recently lost two of her dogs. One to lymphoma and one to brain cancer. After spending all kinds of money to on cat scans and specialists Carly says a few pills will be a walk in the park to care for Menudo.
It’s a particularly good fit because Carly has an old lady cat and she was worried about bringing a new dog in, but Menudo has lived with foster mom Mary’s 17 year old cat Tia for months. It happens that Menudo’s coloring is a mix of Carly’s Frenchie who passed and her Terrier. She’s beyond excited to take this nutty girl home and show her what it’s like to have a mommy of her very own.
Carly is unsure of her name just yet but hopefully we will hear about it on the happy tails page.
We are so happy to wish Menudo a very happy life 💕
This girl is only two years old and as you can see she’s in pretty bad shape. Pay no mind to these breeders saying how good of care they take care of their dogs because pictures don’t lie. Sores on her ears and covered in urine stains. I’m never surprised anymore. We will take loving care of her and soon she will be vetted and ready for adoption.
It’s all good from now on. Say hello to Menudo!
