Minion is our spunkiest little pickle toothed fireball over in the turf yard. She runs, plays, sunbathes, and loves a good bone. All she’s been missing is a loving home, and a friend to keep her company. Luckily for her, right after her spay, a wonderful family drove out from Mineral Wells, Texas just to come meet her. Wade and Misty Turner, along with their sweet heeler corgi mix, Riggs, came over to the sanctuary last Sunday to see if minion would be the right fit for their family. Riggs is used to having a Frenchie friend. Remi, their family Frenchie of over 12 years, sadly passed recently. Riggs had known her his whole life, they were best friends. With her being gone, the need for a new friend was apparent to his family . Almost immediately, it was clear that her and Riggs would get along perfectly. After some sniffing, then zoomies, then more sniffing, followed by relaxed breaks in the lobby while I talked to Wade and Misty, Minion was ready to load up into the truck for the ride home. She will never be alone, with their daughter working from home, and the constant companionship of Riggs, we know they will be happy together for the rest of their days.
