Leslie and Jason Gardner, from Murphy, TX, are previous adopters of Flirt (now Peanut) and Ms. O’Brien (now Maggie). They reached out to us about several of our French Bulldogs, wanting to ensure that one would be a good fit with their current dogs. They visited the Sanctuary and met a few of our pups, and it was Moonstruck who stole their hearts! However, Moonstruck had some medical issues that needed to be addressed during her spay, so they decided to wait until after their vacation to bring her home.

On their drive back from Branson, MO, Leslie and Jason had a full SUV—the two of them, along with their daughter and mother—making it very full. They stopped by to pick up Moonstruck, then their other two dogs, who had been boarded at LSDR. Thankfully, it’s a short drive home, and we know Moonstruck, now Jelly Bean, is going to have a wonderful life with such a loving family.
