My Stars

Michelle Wilkins and her family simply couldn’t resist My Stars’ big, joyful smile. She stood out from the moment they met her—that grin had all of us laughing, and clearly it worked its magic on the Wilkins family too. They live in Plano, TX, and with Michelle working in a Veterinary ER, we know My Stars will always be in excellent hands should she ever need medical care.

Suge, their resident dog, came along for the meet‑and‑greet and, despite being understandably nervous with all the sounds and activity at the Sanctuary, gave his approval for her to join the family. Since Michelle couldn’t bring her four cats to the adoption, My Stars will meet them once she’s home—but no worries there, she passed her cat test with flying colors.

A new name is still being decided, and we can’t wait to see what they choose. One thing is certain: that wonderful smile of hers will be lighting up a Happy Tails update very soon.
