Nolan sure wasn’t here long, but that’s always a good thing over here. Being an owner surrender, we don’t know much about him besides how he acts at the sanctuary. The first few days he was here, he was such a nervous boy, hiding in his den, and avoiding our touch. Over the last week he’s warmed up in such a sweet way. He likes his routines, and can have bursts of playful energy. He gets along with other dogs and has opened himself up to affection from the staff. Thankfully, not long after he arrived we got a wonderful application for him from Roland and Debbie Cantu of San Antonio, TX. They have been Boston lovers for years and years. Both are retired; they have a beautiful backyard with a doggie door, and a pool, so maybe we’ll get to see Nolan learn to swim. He really hit the jackpot, a direct quote from Roland states :” he will be treated like a prince”. Expect lots of adventures for our shy guy in the future. Nolan’s new name will be Louie. Look out for Louie on happy tails!
