Henry & Nancy Lawson have been devoted supporters and adopters of Dog Ranch Rescue for many years. They welcomed Daphne (formerly Charm) and Beau (formerly Sour Apple) into their home. Daphne was Nancy’s heart dog and they cherished the time they spent together, caring for her until her passing which was beautifully shared in a Happy Tails post. On the other hand, Beau was Mr. Henry’s dog from the minute they brought him home. The house was very quiet after the passing of Daphne, so they reached out to adopt, but the dog they adopted was too young to become a friend to Beau and was lovingly received into another home. Undeterred, they reached out to Aaron Stewart to come up with a gameplan to bring a new dog into their home. Nancy continued to follow the page to find the right dog for their family. She would occasionally reach out to ask about the personality of one of the dogs in our care, and finally reached out about Oolong. With Aaron on speed dial (even though we don’t think it will be needed), Oolong went home to become a Lawson. Her new name will be Camille and we know she is where she belongs! Happy life baby girl!

She is a staff favorite. Playful, loves toys, never gets into trouble and sometimes keeps to herself. She just had ear infection and a note about her eye on her exam sheet from Dr. Reno. So, we sent her to the eye doctor.  Both eyes are open and comfortable, tear production is good. Large corneal opacity in center of right eye is due to a congential abnormality called anterior segment dysgenesis. She also has a small cataract that may or may not progress over time. No medication or recheck needed. “She is a very sweet girl!”. Also about 5-6 years old
