Chris and Cathy Moody submitted an application for a Frenchie, open-hearted and open-minded. They didn’t have a specific dog in mind—they simply wanted the right fit for their family, including their sweet 10-year-old Lab, Grace. With Grace entering her golden years, they knew a high-energy pup wouldn’t be ideal, but they still hoped for that signature Frenchie charm.
Enter Persian.
She was the perfect match: gentle enough for Grace, yet full of that quirky, lovable Frenchie personality. When we reached out, the Moodys had just returned from vacation, and by the time we were able to reconnect, Chris was already off at the deer lease—so the adoption was delayed by about a week. But once the date was set, they made sure Grace came along to give her paw of approval.
Persian will keep her lovely name, but she’ll be affectionately called Percy—an adorable nickname for an adorable girl.

Persian is a gentle, reserved Frenchie who prefers to take things slow as she continues to build her confidence. She is living her retired life now so a home with a laid back chill environment would be right up her alley. More of a dog watcher than a player, she enjoys quietly observing the fun rather than joining in and is happiest lounging and relaxing. She’s pretty quiet, can be hit or miss with her meals, and is content resting in her den. While she won’t ask for affection directly just yet, she secretly melts when given head scratches & love.

A great mother they report, and just weaned her last litter, and that is an absolute fact. She was born almost 5 years ago and has never known what life can be as a beloved family member, we look forward to seeing her in her forever home in a beautiful clean fluffy bed like all dogs should have.
