The look on Phooey’s face says it all! With this regal look it’s like she knew these were her people and she was now the princess. Phooey’s forever home is with experienced Frenchie owners Dawn and Frank Melchione from Schertz, Texas. Both are retired so they will be available to make Phooey feel at home and loved. She will be part of the family and get to go on trips when the Melchion’s go visit their family.
They aren’t sure on a name yet, but hopefully we will find out soon on the Happy Tails page. We wish you a happy life, Phooey

A little update on Phooey.
Phooey is becoming a little more confident each day. She is starting to love soft toys and is showing more interest in my dogs. Phooey will even come over to me now for pets when I’m sitting on the couch. We will be working on getting this confidence to spill over to being outside and walking on a leash.
Phooey is a sweet and silly girl who will be a great addition to a family who understands she may be a little shy and nervous at first, but will warm up when given some time.
Pupdate from foster mom Danielle:
Miss Phooey discovered one of the dog beds today. I think she loves it. She is currently snoring away on it. Phooey is doing great in the house. Is enjoying trying to figure everything out. Outside is going to take a little more time getting use to until she feels like starting to explore there. She did make good progress today with following us out the door and back in. She is a sweet and silly girl and I see a hint of possibly some typical Frenchie naughty pants.I am unsure if this is dirt on her head or a scar, we will investigate.
