Piper has found a safe place to land, Millie sent her on her way yesterday to her new life.

Millie:

“I promised her we’d find the best family that would love her for the rest of her life. Losing your mom is hard, finding yourself alone in a noisy shelter afterwards is harder still. Someone is going to have to check off all the boxes to get this girl.
Tammy and Don Snowder checked off all those boxes…. Don is retired and is home all day. Tammy only works at an office 4 days a week. They recently lost one of their own sweet babies. Their hearts are still aching but their little 4 1/2 yr old Chi mix, Annie, is lonely and needs another companion. Tammy will be taking both dogs for daily walks, which Piper will love. She’ll have a large back yard to run and play in and she’ll sleep in the bed with Tammy and Annie! Plus she’ll get lots of love, cuddles and attention from Don. They are keeping the name Piper that her momma gave her and the one she knows.
Love you little girl, don’t be scared, you’re going to have the very best life going forward… no looking back!”
