The second cake of the day that was sent on their way to their new life was Pound cake, she will go live with Mandie Green from Dallas, Texas.
Travis did the adoption today and told us that Mandy hasn’t owned a dog in a few years after her bulldog passed. Pound cake is a nervous girl so I gave them all the tips to get her started in the right direction. they chose the pink leash, from the leashes the village provides to all adoptive families. Travis said little girl is very excited about this little lady.
They are thinking about keeping the name Pound Cake with “lb.” as a nickname.

Next up is the second girl of the sisters three, born on 6/5/19. The PET ONLY Frenchies.. All I can say is whatever….. how lucky are they?
Pound Cake gets along well with the other dogs and is a playful girl. She likes to run zoomies and have all the other dogs chase her. On the other hand, if she is alone in a room, she will play happily by herself. She is a sweet girl who likes to be held. When it’s time for bed, this little smarty pants goes right to her den.
