Breed: French Bulldog
Adopted by: Brian and Sandra Jensen
Rango has gone on to his forever life with Brian and Sandra Jensen who are local to us here in North Texas. They have two frenchies already at home, and Rango will make three to round out their pack. His new name will be Rip, and we are so thrilled to see him go to a fabulous family like the Jensen’s who accept him exactly as he is, and have waited patiently to take him home, never wavering even when Rango had to go to the ER to have bladder stones removed. He has bounced back amazingly and was so excited to meet his new family today. I have been promised that they will post on Happy Tails, and look forward to seeing lots of Rip and his new buddies. Happy life, Rip and thank you Jensen’s for adopting from DRR!
- Holy guacamole, Rango is capital A-Adorable. He is the most handsome bullfrog in all of Texas and he knows it. We received Rango from a local shelter after he was taken in as a stray. He is missing both ears, but doesn’t know any differently, and is not bothered by us touching or medicating them. He did come to us with bladder stones which have since been removed, and he is currently on a prescription diet to prevent them from returning. He loves to play with female dogs, and we are learning more about him with coexisting with other dogs as he settles in at the sanctuary. He loves to be hosed off with cool water and then go lay out in the sun. He enjoys hard bones to chew on, soft toys to toss around, and wants nothing more than to get lots of cuddles and sit in your lap. His big brown eyes look right into your heart when you first meet him, and he will be an amazing dog for one lucky adopter.
