Latest Update:

Remi’s outgoing personality made him quite the character during his stay at the Ranch, where he was learning how to “dog.” It was a bit ruff at first—he wasn’t a fan of the fast-paced environment and took it upon himself to correct dogs who were already being corrected! That told us he’d do best as an only dog… until we received an application from Ben and Michelle Viljoen of Arvada, Colorado.
Their home includes four adults and one very mellow 14-year-old Irish Setter, so we weren’t concerned about the pace or energy level. Remi—now proudly named Koa Malcolm Viljoen—has a name as thoughtful as his placement. “Koa” is Hawaiian for brave, courage, and warrior, and he just looked like a Malcolm too, so he got a middle name to match.
Next on the shopping list: puffer jackets for the Colorado cold. But we know he’ll be kept warm with love for the rest of his life. Can’t wait to see him soon on Happy Trails!
About Remi:
Remi Bio:
Remi is a lively Frenchie with a outgoing personality and a natural charm. He’s known to be quite the flirt when it comes to the lady dogs, always ready to show off his manly side! He’s a go-getter who enjoys being the life of the party, whether he’s starting a game of chase or encouraging the other dogs to join in the fun. Remi thrives on attention, he isn’t shy to ask for it either! He does “leave his mark” pretty regularly.. we have found a wrap on him works best. He know when to cool off in the kitty pool or pond whenever he needs a break. Remi is food motivated & enjoys a good toy to keep him busy when it’s chill time. An endlessly entertaining little man, he’s sure to flourish in a home that welcomes his playful spirit, habits, and big heart.
