Romeo was just too excited to sit still for his adoption photo- probably because he gets to go live with the one and only Spork the DDB! Katie and Ron Woods of Bartonville, Illinois have adopted from DRR three times now, and we are so thrilled to have Romeo go home with them. They first adopted Brennan and loved that big boy, then they adopted our Sporky. Sadly Brennan died very suddenly and they were of course heartbroken. They needed a little time to heal their hearts but we had hoped they would come back for a friend for Spork. Sure enough Romeo would be the lucky dog!!

Romeo’s new name will be Jesper, and we know we will get to see lots of him on the Happy Tail’s page along with his sister Spork. Thank you for adopting from DRR and please have a safe journey home!

Romeo and his sister Juliet were found as strays in East Texas, emaciated and scrounging for food. Both are pups approx 8 months old.
