Breed: French Bulldog
Current Location: North Carolina
Adoption Date: April 19, 2019
Adopted by: Joey Gerding and Jay Herrington
The adoptions have continued all afternoon, this one was done by foster mom millie for our sweet boy Rooster Cogburn..
Rooster Cogburn hit the jackpot!!! Not just one but two Veterinary Ophthalmologists to take care of him and all his medical needs.. Joey Gerding and Jay Herrington lost their French Bulldog about a year ago at age 13 (rescued at 6yrs old) and were looking for another….. one that needed them and what they had to offer. Enter Rooster to fill that void. Joey flew in today from North Carolina to pick him up. Rooster gave him big kisses immediately and off they went just like it was always meant to be. He’ll have two fur siblings along with a Sphinx Cat as family plus get to travel back and forth to work with Joey and Jay. How great is that?
Happy life my old man you’ll be missed.About Rooster Cogburn:
We became aware of this little old man in a shelter in Arlington a week ago. He’s approximately 7-8 years old and as you can see his eye is in very bad shape; he’s had a rough life. They were in touch with his owners but they never came for him. Our volunteer is picking him up this afternoon and bringing him to us so he will never be neglected again. We will get him the medical care he obviously needs and all the love and affection he could want for too.
For now he is staying with our wonderful fosters, Millie and Buzz. They tell us he is a real sweetheart, a funny guy with good manners who loves to carry his toys around with him.
Welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue, Rooster Coburn!
