Root Beer floated away on bubbles of love straight into the arms of Kaycie Gage and her daughter, Maelyn, in Dallas, TX. They had just moved back to Texas from California and wasted no time submitting their application. For the past five years, they frequently babysat two Frenchies and missed them dearly — and it certainly didn’t hurt that we received a glowing recommendation from those dogs’ owners about the exceptional care Kaycie and Maelyn provided.
Root Beer will now answer to Winston, “Winny,” and he is destined to be one of the most spoiled pups you’ll ever meet. With Kaycie working from home, we’re hopeful his potty training will come along quickly (fingers crossed).

A little happy guy with a personality bigger than him! 💛 He knows exactly how to get your attention.. by flopping on his back & kicking his feet in the air til you give in! 😂 honestly it usually works, persistent in the cutest way! Toys & treats are a win in his book, always ready for a fun time. He will absolutely tell you how it is, in his best frenchie accent of course!🤭 He’s consumed with character, humor, & heart… just wants a life long best friend really. ♾️
