Rouge

What a treat he was, brightened my day.

Little schnauzer Rouge met his new family today. Tiffaney Shaffer came to the ranch with her mom and 6 year old son from Brownwood, TX. Tiffaney came in first and let us know that Rouge was a surprise for her son who had been asking for a puppy since before Christmas. They lost their 9.5 year old American Bully, Remi, in June to a brain tumor. Their other dog, 9.5 year old Josie, a pit mix was lonely so Tiffaney started looking for a dog they could rescue to give both her son and Josie a new playmate. When Tiffaney saw Rouge, she knew he was the one they had been looking for. The family also has a 19 year old cat, Spartacus, who will be keeping an eye on Rouge. When her son came into the ranch office, his mouth fell open and he was so surprised. He couldn’t believe his mom had gotten them a puppy. He got to name the puppy and he chose the name Jet. This little guy will get to go to work with Tiffaney or her mom so he can continue on his potty training journey.
