After months of surgeries, this sweet older girl found her home, and she was home all along.
Ruth had multiple eye surgeries, dental, spay, complications from being allergic to sutures, and then she had to have the large wrinkle over her nose removed because it kept getting infected.
Because of all of her surgeries, we put a call out for a foster family and Jania Nutt stepped up to take care of Ruth which meant transporting her to and from her surgeries as well as caring for her during recoveries. Over time, the family decided that they had fallen in love with darling Ruth and didn’t want to let her go. A foster fail is a happy ending for Ruth.
Have a happy life, sweet Ruth!
Ruth was an owner surrender at a very high kill shelter in south Texas, she’s 7 years old and needs surgery on both of her eyes. She has entropian and this has led to her eyes being scratched for years and years. Her vision has been affected but she can see. She’s a sweetheart looking for her forever home.
