And now it’s Sally’s turn to meet her new mom. Jamie Anderson from Carrollton, TX has adopted from DRR a couple of times. First was Lily (fka Amelia) who has since crossed the rainbow bridge. Lily needed a friend so in 2019 Jamie adopted MJ (fka Persimmon). Now it’s MJ’s turn to need a friend. Jamie knew instantly when she saw Sally’s picture that she was meant to be hers. Sally will be her 5th Pekingese. MJ can be anxious at times and having another dog around calms her. Sally can be a goofball but she is mostly a calm dog who loves to snuggle with other dogs and her human. Seems like a great match. Sally’s new name is Pearl, named after Jamie’s great grandmother. Isn’t she just precious, I just love a Peke and she is so sweet. I couldn’t say no to her. I didn’t know she was bred it didn’t say she was in the catalog but when they pulled her up on the table then it does appear she has a belly. Oh well, we shall see how this plays out.
