Latest Update:
When Travis and Carly were driving all over the Houston area taking much needed supplies and transporting dogs out of hurricane ravaged areas, Travis plucked a couple of dogs out of there and took them home for us to vet and find homes for.
This is Santell who was sick with an upper respiratory infection and her skin was in terrible shape. It took many weeks to get her well enough for adoption but today was the day.
Katie Moore and her children are from Midlothian, TX and have anxiously waited for a long time to finally take this sweet girl home.
We wish you a very happy life, little girl!

This honey-colored girl was rescued during a mission to provide supplies to the Houson/San Antonio area after Hurricane Harvey hit. She has some pretty serious skin issues going on that will be addressed soon by Dr. D. We believe she is about 9 or 10 months old and approximately 30 pounds. We have placed her with foster mom Millie, and she is doing great.
Please welcome to the Rescue, Santell!
An update on Santell:
Santell is doing great.. she’s eating well and I think she’s already looking better.. her face lights up and her tail wags when she goes outside with me. She loves to lay in the sun. She actually walked just a little on the slip leash today. She loves roasted beef tips treats … at first I had to help her into her crate after going out now she just goes right in and gives me the “where’s my treat” look. Santell is just super sweet and loving.
