Age: Adult
Sex: Female
Breed: French Bulldog
Weight:
Current Location: Chicago
Adoption Date: April 23, 2017
Adopted by: Mike and Kristine Lim
Latest Update:
Saxy turned out to be on top of the list of being a challenge around other dogs. Her foster mom, Nicole, and our fabulous volunteer, Cate, both worked hard on Saxy’s behavior helping her to integrate more smoothly into Nicole’s own family of dogs.
She will be living in a quiet suburban community north of Chicago as a well loved ‘only’ dog with the Lim family, Mike and Kristine. As much as we tried to tell her new parents not to let her run the show, a tiny amount of spoiling will likely occur. Starting with a new name, Leia, a way cool new collar/leash, new crate, and bed while asking very good, intuitive questions from Day 1 – her family has her best interests first and foremost.
We wish you the best life, Leia!
Saxophone is a 4 year old cream female Frenchie who was rescued from the auction in Missouri that included all of the Musical instruments.
Saxy has shown herself to be a fun loving very people friendly dog that loves people and affection. She has also demonstrated that she is a challenge with other dogs in the home. Her foster family is working very hard on curtailing this behavior that seems to center around the fact that she’s not wanting to share her humans. At this time we will be searching for a home for her where she is the only dog in the home.
She is currently in Chicago but we are of course open to adoptive families that are willing to drive to her from any of the surrounding areas.
