Adding to another lucky dog to get adopted over the Thanksgiving holiday

Selena Gomez went home with her new mama Ashley Young of Rockwell Texas yesterday. Ashley works from home and has always owned Frenchies, Selena will have Corgi friends at home and plenty of time to relax and enjoy her new life as a pet. Ashley is unsure what she will name her, she wants to spend some time with her to see what feels right.

Selena Gomez is another adult mill mama that we were so happy to remove from a life of commercial breeding. She has been shy at the sanctuary, but considering that her whole world has been turned upside down, I’d say she’s doing great. She gets along with other dogs, and loves to cuddle up with her Frenchie friends outside while they lounge in the sun. Selena is a classic mill dog who will need time, love, and patience in her new home while she learns what it means to be a pet.
