Shannon Spokes is getting a very special mom. Emma Hammons is an employee at the rescue and couldn’t resist this precious girl. Emma was at the auction house and was the one who convinced Renee to rescue Shiba Inu mama Flo. We did not know she was carrying smuggled babies at the time. You might remember Flo went from “oh she is pregnant” to delivering her 3 babies all within about an hour. Emma previously adopted Noodle (DRR Anubis) and Flora (DRR Fire). She most recently added a Dogue de Bordeaux puppy named Phyllis (non-DRR) to her pack. Shannon will now be known as Fanta in keeping with the F sounding names. We are so excited to be able to watch Fanta grow up as a member of the rescue family. Now to see what Phyllis Noodle, and Flora think of her.
