Danielle Huntsberger and Jim Meade originally applied for Letty—the spirited little Miniature Schnauzer who had energy to spare. It came down to two exceptional families, and Danielle and Jim were one of them. But Letty needed a busy fur‑family to keep her entertained and happily worn out, so they weren’t chosen at the time.

Then Sheesh arrived at the rescue, and Danielle reached out right away, reminding us she had been a finalist for Letty and sharing how much she already adored Sheesh. This time, the decision was easy. Sheesh was clearly meant to be theirs.

She is now Talulah Belle, living her best life in McKinney, TX, as an only dog who gets to soak up every ounce of love Danielle and Jim have to give—and that’s going to be a lot. She’ll be cherished, spoiled, and treasured exactly the way she deserves.
