Splash is on her way with the nicest, most patient new mom. She will live in Cypress TX, with Victoria Thompson and 2 fur siblings, Layla and Lady Godiva. Both of whom are rescues that have required a lot of love and time. After Victoria lost her Golden Retriever, Layla took it pretty hard and Vicky knows that Layla and Splash will help each other mend.

Tentatively, her new name will be Roxanne, but will be called Roxy.

About Splash:

We had planned on trying to get the two oldest Goldens. The plan failed when they said up on the auction block that one of them was “showing a belly”

You see they say that when they are trying to drive up the price of the dog. That succeeded for the other girl and she sold for a couple of thousand dollars. Odds are she isn’t pregnant, but that doesn’t matter. The buyers in the audience get excited with potential money to be made and go for it.

So with that, this was the only girl that we could rescue. She was born on 12/24/15 making her 6 years old. Her breeding days are behind her now and she is safe with us.
