Latest Update:
Danielle Musselman had reached out to us to adopt Boise, a Beagle we rescued from an auction. Boise looked just like a Beagle that Danielle had that died from cancer. Off went Boise to live a cherished life with Danielle but sadly she died from cancer a couple of years later. In addition, Danielle just adopted another Beagle from another rescue and even though she was young she passed away after just a couple of months from Addison Disease.
Too much sadness, and when Laura heard about this she contacted Danielle and said how about a change of pace? How about you take a look at Starr, the mama of the Beatle boys. She was very much on board with that and today Starr met her new mama at Jenn’s house. Jenn said Starr ran right up to her and covered her in kisses. She will live in Plano, TX and be an only dog so she will get to enjoy being spoiled for the rest of her life. Danielle would like to get to know her a little better before choosing the perfect name.
It seems like a match made in heaven and Starr can help heal her broken heart as she moves on away from her babies and can focus on herself now.
We wish this little happy scruffy girl and her mama a very happy long life!
We saw this little scruffy girl and read about her plight. Apparently she was adopted out on the 18th and then returned because of suspected ringworm, which she does not have. Then things went from bad to worse when she gave birth to three little pups yesterday. Then things went from worse to horrible when they were all set to be euthanized.
We’ve got a lot of things in the works right now, but we couldn’t let this scruffy mama and her nuggets be euthanized. As we get to know them, we will give updates so stay tuned.
We are figuring out how to manage it all, Jenn will take this little family.
In the meantime. let me welcome to Dog Ranch Rescue this mama dog that we will call Starr.
