As soon as we welcomed Subway to Dog Ranch Rescue Kellie Lane immediately leapt into action and notified Laura that she would like to be considered for her. Kellie lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and adopted from us previously, you might remember little Julianne Moore from the academy award winning group.

She knew that she wanted Subway to join their little family of black and tan Dachshunds, one short hair and now one long hair. What a cute little couple of girls they make together.

We aren’t sure of a new name for Subway yet so we will just wish her a happy life with whatever her mama chooses for her.

About Subway:

This adorable female, long haired Dachshund was picked up by D.S. as a mill owner surrender in Missouri and came to us courtesy of our road warrior, Ricky Barnes.

She is 2 years old and had a litter a couple of days before D.S. got her but she was not a good mama to her pups so they wanted her gone. Of course, the breeder kept the pups and will have to bottle feed them for a few days while they wait for some other breeder mama they have who is due to deliver and they will have her surrogate these pups.
