Suzie Toot woke up yesterday morning unaware it was Thanksgiving—but it turned out to be the perfect day to give thanks for her new family! At Love Field Airport, we met her new mom, Shannon Skonieczka of Carmel, Indiana, who arrived bright and early to whisk Suzie away to meet her dad, Mike, along with Mabel, Iris, and Margot (formerly Rachel, Viviana, and Anne Bonny).
We can already picture Suzie—now proudly renamed Imogen—settling into her new home, surrounded by love and a Thanksgiving feast. Her days of breeding are behind her, her milk and incision have healed, and she’s blossomed into a spunky little girl ready for her fresh start.
We can’t wait to follow her journey and read all about her new adventures on Happy Tails!

So yesterday we got word that 5 French Bulldogs needed to be rescued. The breeder had been shut down and needed them gone now. It’s always gotta be pretty bad for a breeder to be shut down, because so much bullcrap is tolerated by their living conditions. Anyway we said yes, and late afternoon they arrived. I will share them with you one at a time, with the limited information that I have.

What the “breeder” said was only one of them was worthy of breeding the others are too ugly to try and make puppies and sell them. Except for one and that one is this girl, shes about 12 pounds, they bred her, all of her puppies died, she still has the incision and the milk. She is terrified and wants to disappear in a corner.
